Steps to Install
- Lay out your plan with stakes and your garden hose or string, carefully marking curved sections.
- Use the flat spade or shovel to cut a 2-3 inch trench for the edging along the line you laid out.
- Place the edging in the trench making the overlap joints as you go. Curves are easily shaped by hand. A 1/2 inch cut with the hack saw on the top and bottom will help make angles.
- With a small sledge or other hammer drive the stakes in until the top of the stake is flush with edging.
Notes
Allow 8 inches per section for overlap
Be sure to drive stakes flush with top of edging
Pre-formed corners and ends are available to simplify your layout
Plastic safety cap is recommended in high traffic areas
